Job Description

  • Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across,
  • multiple projects
  • Structure and manage integrated, multi-track project performance databases for multiple digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential projects, with an eye on overall progress
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and researchers
  • Manage project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at a high performance
  • Working with a team leads to resolving people’s problems and project roadblocks
  • Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
  • Presents high-level project readouts for Senior management
  • Support product owner(s) with intra-team dynamics concerning priorities and scope
  • Manage other special projects as assigned
  • MS Project knowledge is an added bonus

General

  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience
  • Demonstrable expertise in agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Thrives in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Expert coach on implementation of agile scrum
  • Deep understanding of the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile procedures to predict the development teams’ needs
  • Solid experience working with Architecture teams to assess and size story/epics
  • Passionate commitment to delivering products on time
  • Comfortable with presenting project readouts to Executive level audience
  • Deep understanding of agile metrics (tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity,
  • user stories etc.) to analyze and improve sprint planning
  • Ability to understand and represent both the business and technology
  • Excellent communicator in person, over the phone, and through email
  • Self-motivated, organized
